Louisiana Grand Jury Indicts Mystikal On First-Degree Rape & Second-Degree Kidnapping Charges

The former No Limit Soldier rapper, Mystikal, has had his bond reportedly set at $3 million after being indicted by a Caddo Parish, Louisiana grand jury.

Mystikal’s woes with the law continues after the man known as Michael Lawrence Tyler was reportedly indicted by a Louisiana grand jury. With charges of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping, Mystikal was one of three men alleged to have been involved with an October 2016 assault at a casino in Shreveport, La., according to KSLA News.

Mystikal turned himself into the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Department was arrested and charged. He told the same network, KSLA News, at the Caddo Correctional Center last month that he was turning himself in “to get this business rectified, to get this behind me, man.” Averweone Darnell Holman, 26, Tenichia Monieck Wafford, 42, were also indicted Tuesday. Holman was indicted on one count each of first-degree rape and second-degree kidnapping and had his bond set at $3 million, while Wafford was indicted on one count of obstruction of justice with a $500,000 bond.

A previous charge in 2003, found Mystikal pleading guilty to sexual battery and no contest to extortion in an unrelated incident. The following year, he was sentenced to six years in prison.
