Big Boi has announced the follow-up to his 2012 solo album Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors.

Titled Boomiverse, the forthcoming album serves as Big Boi's third solo project. An announcement for the album's release was made through the rapper's Instagram account early Wednesday, with Big Boi also announcing that two tracks from the project will be released soon. One is called "Mic Jack" and features Maroon 5's Adam Levine; the other is called "Kill Jill" and features Killer Mike and Jeezy.

The former is expected to premiere at 12:30 p.m. EST on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show tomorrow, while the latter will be available tomorrow night. No other information is known about the album.

We will see if anyone else is featured on the project when it drops, but at the very least this also foreshadows the collaborative Big Boi and Killer Mike EP the former hinted at late last year.

"...me and Killer Mike, we're gonna put out a little EP after I put out my next solo record or something like that," Big Boi said in an interview with Spin. "We've been entertaining the idea for a long time and finally got enough songs to where we just said the other night that we're gonna do it."

Until then, we will have Boomiverse to look forward to (as well as HBO's animated series Animals, which fittingly features celebrities voicing animals. One episode actually has voice contributions from Big Boi and Killer Mike).
