Eric Andre was the latest guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night. The comedian/actor/musician discussed the creation of his upcoming hidden camera comedy film Bad Trip. He shared a sneak peek, featuring Tiffany Haddish as his angry ex-girlfriend.
Additionally, he took some time to do what he does best–pranking unsuspecting viewers. The show’s producers gathered a group of Beyonce fans to talk about their love for her work. As is the case for previous Live segments, they assumed that the megastar would surprise them at the end of the segment. They’re in for a treat…just not the one they’d imagined. Take a look at the ensuing chaos above.
Bad Trip features Tiffany Haddish and Lil’ Rel Howery. Orion Pictures will produce the film, which marks Andre’s postproduction debut.
Back in October, Andre announced the film, as well as the return of The Eric Andre Show. After a three-year hiatus, Andre will release ten new episodes of the show in 2020.
While on hiatus, Andre released Eric Andre Does Paris and KRFT Punk’s Political Party. This past July, he released an album, Cease & Desist, under the stage name Blarf. Andre will also launch his show’s first spinoff this year as well. According to Deadline, the show is “the biggest rap battle to ever hit the hip hop world.”
