The-Dream x Gary Clark Jr. + The Roots – “Too Early” Live On Jimmy Fallon

The-Dream teamed up with blues guitar master Gary Clark Jr. and The Roots to perform his latest single “Too Early” on Friday night’s Late Night With Jimmy Fallon episode. A standout track from his recent album IV Play, the slow-burner benefited from the three backup singers accompanying The-Dream’s soulful voice. While he hit a few wrong notes here and there, there’s no arguing the r&b star’s skill of writing a powerful song. Clark kept his space and never over-played but continuously complimented the groove and filled in the gaps. Overall it’s a solid appearance from The-Dream. Purchase IV Play via ITunes and watch the performance below.
