Blues savious Gary Clark, Jr. stopped by the Kimmel Live stage last night to perform two songs in the key of fuzz--the heavy guitar-drenched "Numb" and the more traditional blues "Ain't Messin Around"--off his current album Blak & Blu. A timely reminder of GCJ's unfade-able live presence, because young dog recently announced that he will be launching and headlining his own Maverick Music Festival in his home state of Texas.
