Pusha T and Gucci Mane Join Common on "Black America Again" Remix

A few weeks back, Common unleashed his eleventh studio album Black America Again to critical and public praise. With Com taking his most pointed and politically-charged stance to date, and a full suite provided by Karriem Riggins, the album marks a triumphant return for the Chicago rapper and just when we needed it most. By now you’ve surely had time to absorb the BAA in full, including its Stevie Wonder-assisted title-track, but today a freshly-reformed take on the namesake cut has arrived in a remix that features Pusha T, Gucci Mane and BJ The Chicago Kid.

And if you’ve ever doubted for a moment that Gucci can actually rap his ass off, consider this a testament, as the Atlanta hit-maker opens the track with some shockingly poignant bars, passing the baton over to King Push with some repentant rhymes over an entirely-reworked beat. It’s a gem, no doubt, and if you’ve been looking for a Black America Again chaser, this right here is it.

Hear the remix of Common’s “Black America Again” down below and if you’ve yet to do so, be sure to pick up your copy on iTunes today.
