Perhaps some you are as painfully aware of B.o.B.‘s tragically misinformed, and frankly, dumb “flat earth” ramblings over the last few days, even releasing a shade-throwing track in regards to one Neil deGrasse Tyson‘s well-placed and very much needed correction. In short, it rallied the hip-hop-loving scientific community as a unified front in the face of such epic levels of ignorance, best embodied by today’s release; a retaliation, commissioned and endorsed by NDG himself by his nephew, intricately eviscerating both the “flat earth” madness and the man that insists on propagating it through a hefty social media following. Oh, and it should be noted that the track is actually fashioned after Drake‘s now infamous “Back To Back.”
You can hear Neil deGrasse Tyson’s “Flat To Facts” diss track below. Here’s to hoping that the next time a rapper steps to the astrophysicist, his good friend GZA steps out and comes to the rescue (just not before he finally drops that Dark Matter LP!)
