Premiere: Junia-T & Briskinthehouse Steal The Show w/ Breezy New Single “My, My, My”

“This song is about living how you want to. Despite who the world may want you to be, never lose self”

Throughout much of 2015, north-of-the-border dynamo, Junia-T, gave us ear and eye candy galore, blending jazz and soul-sampling sonic suites with an almost effortless delivery. But it’s a new year and it’d only be right for some new sounds from the Sauga emcee. And so, we’re happy to bring you the premiere of Junia’s latest single “My, My, My” off his forthcoming Son of a (Drum)mer LP.

Those familiar with Junia’s laid-back rhyme schemes will feel right at home with this breezy and brilliant outing, enlisting fellow Canadian spitter Briskinthehouse to rock over a dusty guitar flip provided by Big Sproxx, holding down their region and proving the Toronto sound to be so much more than just molly&melancholy. We’ve yet to receive a precise date on when we can expect Junia-T’s follow-up to his still-in-heavy-rotation Eye See You LP, but this should be more than enough to hold you over. Hear the latest from Junia-T and his musical misfits down below and grab a copy of Eye See You on iTunes today if you’re looking to get acquainted.
