Bishop Nehru Chronicles His Tokyo Excursion w/ Warm New Loosie "Bishy In Japan (Knowing Nothing)"

Bishop Nehru Chronicles Tokyo Excursion w/ Warm New Loosie "Bishy In Japan (Knowing Nothing)"

Over the last few years, Bishop Nehru has emerged as one of the game's most promising and polished MCs, linking with MF DOOM for their critically adored NehruvianDOOM LP, which is still getting plenty of burn 'round these parts. It's taken him from adolescent grammatical athlete to top slot at NaS' Mass Appeal Records in what seems like the blink of an eye. But now we're gearing up for his solo debut EP, and it's looking to be a formidable one for the spry spitter. Over the months, young Nehru has treated us to a number of offerings from the Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP, including "Breath (Prana/$pirit)" (which features a lovely chop of Fat Belly Bella's "Back In The Day") and the Dilla-fied "Harmony In A Glass." But today, we're getting a fresh new joint, warm, rhodes heavy and swung supremely at its close. "Bishy In Japan (Knowing Nothing)" charts a recent trip to Tokyo, wherein he linked with Japanese beat smith BudamunkThe product is one you'll catch all the vibes from, channelling his inner-backpacker on track that recalls early Black Sheep or De La. Bishop Nehru's Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP is due May 11th, so be sure to check back when the goods arrive. Peep the wavy and wonderful non-album cut "Bishy In Japan (Knowing Nothing)" below.
