Hear Tay Walker's Sweet and Soulful New Song "Runaway"

Before The Internet was your favorite crew/production house in music, Tay Walker was an able hand and voice in sculpting some of their notable early gems a la Purple Naked Ladies. In 2015, the First Look alum released his debut album 25 Hours A Day following a string of smoky, sensual singles and an exceptional feature on Domo Genesis' "Wanderer."

And now, as his affiliates ready their breakout solo projects, Walker also appears to be on the verge of another long-form release. Today he's offered a taste of what's to come in the sprawling and tender ballad, "Runaway." Anchored by six-string strums and Walker's butter-smooth vox, the track is soulful, simple and sweet, sure to hit you right in the feels. The perfect accompaniment to grab your boo and run for the hills with. No word on whether we can actually look forward to a new project in 2017, but with all the homies getting theirs, it could be safe to assume we haven't heard the last of Tay Walker this year, and he certainly doesn't need The Internet to grab you by the heart strings.
