On Tuesday night, JAY-Z took his 4:44 tour to Chicago. There was an old friend waiting for him: Jaz-O, JAY-Z’ mentor.
The two reconnect backstage at the show. Emory Jones, a longtime friend of JAY-Z, captured the moment on his Instagram, alongside 4:44 producer No I.D.

If you know anything about Hov, you know that Jay and Jaz haven’t been on good terms in a long time. In fact, the two have been sending shots at each other for more than a decade. It’s been one of the more depressing rap beefs over the years because Jaz-O introduced the world to JAY-Z on “Hawaiian Sophie” in the late ’80s.
