Frank Ocean Makes Quarantined Life Easier By Sharing Two Acoustic Songs, "Dear April" & "Cayendo"

Frank Ocean's "Dear April" and "Cayendo" were both previously released as vinyl-only singles last year.

Well, this just made quarantined life a little easier.

Frank Ocean has released two new songs, "Dear April" and "Cayendo," which features the singer crooning in Spanish. Both songs are acoustic and both were previously released as vinyl-only singles last year.

If you have been following Frank over the years you are familiar with both tracks: Not only has he played them on his Blonded Radio show but he put the songs in one of his sets at his PrEP+ club party in New York City last year. Now both of those songs can be played via their favorite streaming platform.

The last time Frank released new music was in November when he dropped  "In My Room," a song that President Barack Obama was a huge fan of. apparently.

Frank Ocean was scheduled to perform at Coachella this year (an indication that he has a new album in the works.) However, Coachella 2020 was pushed back due to the coronavirus pandemic. It is still unclear if Frank plans to release a new album soon.

Last fall he gave an interview to W Magazine where he talked about the music he was interested in right now. Frank said:

I’ve been interested in club, and the many different iterations of nightlife for music and songs. And so the things I look at now have a lot to do with those scenes: Detroit, Chicago, techno, house, French electronic.

These two songs don't sound anything like that. But they're still dope. Listen to "Dear April" and "Cayendo" below.
