Last July, the NYC-based label, headed and founded by Daniel Glass, filed suit against the artist — who released music under the label as Childish Gambino between 2011 and 2017 — for claiming 100% of streaming royalties from SoundExchange. Now, following a court filing on Friday in the Southern District of New York, both parties have dropped their charges, agreeing to walk away amicably and pay their respective attorney’s fees.

Glover’s last album, “Awaken, My Love!,” fulfilled his contract with Glassnote and his next project, presumably his final under the Childish Gambino moniker, will be released with RCA Records.
