Amazon‘s Alexa will finally be able to curse you out in your own home.
According to Deadline, Samuel L. Jackson will be the first celebrity voice of the tech titan’s Alexa-enabled devices. In a recent blog post, Amazon detailed the functions of Alexa’s new vox, which are identical to that of its old one, but with “a bit of [Jackson’s] own personality.” You’ll be able to purchase Jackson’s voice — which comes in both explicit and non-explicit versions — as an add-on for 99 cents.
Other voices are said to be arriving next year — presumably those of Cardi B, Harrison Ford, and Anthony Hopkins — all of which were featured in Amazon’s Super Bowl ads this past year.
A release date for Samuel L. Jackson’s Alexa voice has yet to be revealed. Hold tight for updates in the weeks and months ahead.
