Tuxedo (Mayer Hawthorne & Jake One) Find An Unconventional B-Boy In The Lighthearted Clip For "Do It"

Remember this time last year when we thought Tuxedo Funk was just the vice-filled musk of your three-piece on the morning after a night of sheer debauchery? And remember when we gleefully found out that it was a bonafide boogie-based side-project from the minds of Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One? That was a damn good day, when the duo infected us with its bright, nuanced take on the modern-funk sound with a trio of choice cuts, seeped in glitter and groove. Today we've got a fresh new clip from the once mysterious tandem for the lead-off single "Do It," the one that did us in from the get. It finds an earnest prospective dancer earning his stripes in front of a group of nonbelievers, until, of course, he converts them to his gyrating ways. All of a sudden, he's leading the charge of fancy footwork. Watch Tuxedo's new clip for "Do It" down below and grab the free Tuxedo Funk EP. Let's all hope a full-length piece isn't too far off.
