Open Mike Eagle has released the video for his Phonte collaboration “Woke as Me.”

The song and video features the two rappers battling it out to see who is more enlightened. The video features the two veteran rappers in a barber shop. (We also see the two in video game form.)

This is the third video Open Mike Eagle has put out for his The New Negroes show (following collaborations with MF DOOM and Danny Brown.) All three have been super creative and interesting.
