Mick Jenkins has been a busy man. Over the last year alone, he's relinquished two stud projects (Wave[s]and before that The Water[s]) not to mention the grip of loosies he's graced us with in just the last few months. Today he returns with yet another freebie, reworking TheSenseiBlue's space-age love song, "On The Map" with a little help from BADBADNOTGOOD. Together they strip-down the cut with Jenkins stretching out as a vocalist, crooning and rapping a bit, and BBNG holding down a wavy groove. No telling if this is a sign of what's to come, but this'll certainly hold us over until either of these entities hit us with a new project. And hopefully it won't be too long before that day comes.
