Slim K Chopped and Screwed

A Slim K hopped and screwed mixtape has hit the net.  This time it's with the best hip-hop album of 2012: none other than Kendrick Lamar's masterpiece, good kid, m.A.A.d city. I was surprised that this wasn't posted to datpiff a day after the album's debut on October 22. But listening to the Slim K chopped and screwed "Backstreet Freestyle" (which is mixed with Juvenile's "Back That Thang Up") it's clear that this project required a lot more time, energy, and thought than the typical slow down. Before listening to the mix I rolled my eyes that someone would have the audacity to alter gkmd, especially with that purple syrup. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it," right? But Slim didn't break anything here. He just transformed Kendrick's album into a whole other monster. Listen to the syrupy version of "Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe" to see what I mean, then download the Slim K chopped and screwed good kid, m.A.A.d city after the jump.
