The two heralded producers start the battle at 7:30 Pacific Standard Time.

From the looks of things, Timbaland and Swizz Beatz have restored the competitive nature of production. In the wake of their beat battle from this week, Hit-Boy and Boi-1da announced their own duel on Thursday.

"I've heard about bets from $100 to $10,000 so far," Hit-Boy said via Instagram caption. "Who tuning in?"

The two producers have 20 Grammy nominations between them, with three wins total. Hit-Boy burst on the scene with his Watch the Throne standout "Niggas in Paris." Additionally, he received a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for Nipsey Hussle and Roddy Ricch's "Racks in the Middle." Over the years, he earned nominations for hits like Travis Scott's "Sicko Mode" and his work on Beyonce's self-titled album.

Most recently, he released the third installment of The Chauncey Hollis Project, featuring Benny the Butcher and Thurz.
