Drake Responds To Meek Mill's Claims w/ Three New Heaters

Okayplayers may not quite accept the reign of Drake as the current holder of the commercial rap throne, but the kid's certainly making a compelling case. This weekend provided the Toronto terror with the perfect venue for retribution after coming under fire last week for hip-hop's most-dreaded and best-known vice. And how better to address ghostwriting complaints than a handful of heaters? And by handful, I mean three, distinctively dope cuts that, like his surprise If You're Reading This It's Too Late album/mixtape thing, holds plenty of conversion power, even for the most devout Drizzy hater. And let's give it up for the kid; he could have addressed the wholly blown-out-of-proportion allegations with a Twitter-clad response that would have surely eaten up your timeline, but the 28-year-old actor-turned-rapper kept things mum and dropped the only words he needed to say on a track titled "Charged Up," which is to say that all Meek's internet clatter amounted to was a reinvigorated purpose and perhaps a more focused lens on what's still left to accomplish as one of the biggest names in the rap-game. While the original batch of tracks surfaced as radio rips, OVO has posted the CDQ versions for your listening pleasure. Hear all three new Drake cuts down below.
