If you need to wind down this Sunday night before preparing for your work week, check out Soia's new cut "Intangible/Tiger."

The lush single is a highlight from the Viennese singer/songwriter's new album with in-house producer Mez, H.I.O.P. (Hidden In Obvious Places), which just dropped on October 21 through the Philadelphia-based Record Breakin' Music. Soia floats over an atmospheric soundbed crafted by Mez. She delivers sensual, abstract lyrics while effortlessly moving between spoken-word rhymes and melodic singing. The video further drives the vibe home, as Soia croons and rhymes with a dimly-lit, verdant cave as the backdrop.

H.I.O.P. (Hidden In Obvious Places) is Soia and Mez's second full-length album, after 2013's Mood Swings. A press release says the new album is sonically "oriented more towards world music samples, and contains Ethiopian, Kurdish and Jazz sample flakes," and that the lyrics by Soia, who is a biotechnologist, are "engagingly weird."If "Intangible/Tiger" is any indication, the two are connected in perfect musical harmony.
