Three weeks ago, Justin Timberlake shared “Don’t Slack,” his new collaboration with Anderson .Paak. Additionally, he revealed that he and .Paak discussed the possibility of a joint project. Today, fans get a glimpse of the two’s chemistry in the “Don’t Slack” video.
“I hope he doesn’t mind that I’m gonna say this right now,” Timberlake told Beats One’s Zane Lowe. “But we talked about a possible joint project.” Timberlake later noted that the album is obviously in the early planning stages. “I don’t have an agenda to make an album,” he continued. “But if it comes together then it comes together. In the meantime, I just want to stack records with people I love, and that I’m inspired by.”
The video is as animated as a live-action video can be. Timberlake and Paak invade an unsuspecting fan’s house and wreak havoc like the DreamWorks characters they portray.
Trolls World Tour will be the first major Hollywood movie to go directly to streaming instead of a release in theaters. The movie was originally hitting theaters nationwide on April 10. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, DreamWorks decided to offer streaming access to the movie for $20.
In addition to Timberlake and Paak, the film features a bevy of voice cameos. George Clinton, Mary J Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Gwen Stefani, and others will make appearances.
