The new Lion King is coming.
Disney just released the official trailer for the film directed by Iron Man and Jungle Book director Jon Favreau which is slated to hit theaters July 19, 2019.
The star-studded cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones returning as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon, and more voice appearances from Alfre Woodard, Eric André, and Keegan-Michael Key.

The movie maintains the plot and characters of the original 1994 animated film, but with a CGI twist.
A teaser was released back in November that went on to become Disney’s most-viewed trailer debut ever.
