Many of the reports surrounding Jhene Aiko‘s current situation haven’t exactly been music related. Her well-publicized split from Dot Da Genius after 11 months of marriage has dominated the internets as of late. So it’s good to see Aiko back to music, where she’s proven to be more than proficient in expressing the minutia of rocky romance. Today she’s released a lovelorn loosie in the explicitly incomplete “New Balance,” written and performed by Aiko herself.
It’s a touching and delicate little ballad even in its to-be-completed stated and its here for your morning listening session. Check out the latest from Jhene Aiko down below and scroll on to peep her forthcoming tour dates, sharing the stage with Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa.
