“He Dead And Gone Now”: Black Rob’s Manager Calls Out Diddy For Not Helping Sooner

Kal Dawson, Black Rob’s manager, spoke on reports that Diddy is helping to pay for the late Bad Boy rapper’s funeral.

Amid reports that Diddy is going to help pay for Black Rob‘s funeral, the late rapper’s manager has called out the entrepreneur for not helping Rob out sooner.

In a report from Complex, Kal Dawson made a recent appearance on the Murder Master Music Show, where he addressed Diddy reportedly pitching in for the funeral.

“Through somebody else that was affiliated with Rob, Diddy reached out and was gonna do something for Rob, this is when the video first went up when he was in the hospital,” he said. “People dragging their feet and nothing got done. So now you gonna pay for his funeral, he dead and gone now! Everybody wanna do something for you when you are dead and gone!”

Dawson also added that he was the one who shot the initial video of Rob in the hospital that led to concern of his health throughout social media.

“I’m the one that was in the hospital and put him on video and it went viral,” he said. “I did that I was there with him. A lot of people that could’ve helped didn’t help. That’s why I put the video up to show’em that everybody wanna keep shit hush-hush, but he is not getting no help.”

“Who is gonna put two or three hundred thousand dollars behind this man? They’ll take that money and go buy a guy or finance or lease a Rolls-Royce or Lamborghini to ride around, look pretty, because that is something for them,” he continued. “You can’t tell people what to do with their money, but a lot of people that were in position to help but they didn’t and it was too late because he passed away Saturday, a week after DMX.”

Earlier this week, Diddy broke his silence on Rob’s passing, sharing a tribute to the “Whoa!” rapper on Instagram.

“As I listen to your records today there’s one thing that they all have in common! You have made millions of people all over the world feel good and dance!” he wrote. “You are one of a kind!”

Rob died at the age of 52 from cardiac arrest. However, fellow Bad Boy alum Mark Curry also said the rapper had been suffering from a range of medical issues, including kidney failure, lupus, diabetes, and multiple strokes.
