We’re going to get the Bad Boys sequel we all deserve, dammit.
Last year, Will Smith confirmed that he met with Martin Lawrence and the two were officially on board for a third Bad Boys movie. Things were looking good when it was announced that Bad Boys 3 was being renamed Bad Boys For Life. Things were looking even better after Sony set a tentative date of November 8, 2018 for the film’s release.
Well, now there’s been a setback.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film’s director Joe Carnahan, who was also working on the movie’s script, has dropped out of the role. No reason has been confirmed yet, but The Hollywood Reporter said it was either because of scheduling conflicts or because of creative differences (we’re leaning towards the latter.)
Anyone have Michael Bay’s number? Would he be down to direct another Bad Boys movie?
