Actress, singer, director. The resume is getting quite full for young super talent Amandla Stenberg.
The 18-year-old is in full press mode, supporting her new movie Everything, Everything, which is based on the young adult novel of the same name. The movie seems like it’s also going to have a pretty epic soundtrack, one that Stenberg will be involved with.
Stenberg has just released a gorgeous video for “Let My Baby Stay,” a song that will appear on that upcoming Everything, Everything soundtrack.
If the title of the song sounds kinda familiar, it should; it’s a cover of Mac DeMarco’s 2014 track of the same name. The only thing…Stenberg’s song sounds almost nothing like Mac’s, sonically.
But it’s still really dope. Watch the “Let My Baby Stay” video — which Stenberg also directed and edited —below.
