Watch the Trailer For ‘Surviving R. Kelly Part III: The Final Chapter’

Lifetime has released a trailer for Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter just days after his album, I Admit, was removed from DSPs.

Lifetime has shared the trailer for Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter, which concludes the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries. Airing in two parts on January 2 and 3, the first episode will focus on the experience and courtroom testimony of one of Kelly's victims Azriel Clary, while the second episode focuses on survivor Jane Doe #1 and victim impact statements from other survivors.

Along with the Lifetime docuseries, this week has been an eventful run for the disgraced R&B singer. On Tuesday (December 14), TMZ reported that the artist's team claim that hundreds of his master recordings were stolen, first missing from an Illinois storage facility back in February. Police officials say that Keith Calbert, who oversees Kelly's property stored in a warehouse, said that 300 to 500 of the artist's recordings – valued at millions of dollars – went amiss.

However, cops say that Calbert told them otherwise nine months prior, claiming that a roadie duo removed the masters from a warehouse to transport to California. When advising one of the roadies to return the material, they demanded $160,000. Now, Kelly's team allege that the theft likely led to the release of his I Admit album, which released – then disappeared – from streaming services on Monday (December 12).

In June, Kelly was sentenced to 30 years in prison on federal sex crimes case. The artist has since been found guilty of three separate counts of child pornography and three separate counts of enticement of a minor.
