The 2022 BET Awards is back in Los Angeles, coming to viewers live from the Microsoft Theater with host Taraji P. Henson. While Lil Nas X might be boycotting the show, the party isn’t over, with performances from Lizzo, Jack Harlow and Brandy, with a full list of nominees including Drake, Ari Lennox, Kendrick Lamar, Tems and more.

Doja Cat reigns supreme with six nominations this year, including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, Best Female Hip Hop Artist, Album of the Year, BET Her, Video of the Year and Best Collaboration for “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA.

During “Culture’s Biggest Night,” Diddy will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award, with an all-star tribute featuring Mary J. Blige, Jodeci, Nas, Lil’ Kim, Busta Rhymes, The Lox, Bryson Tiller, Faith Evans, and The Maverick City Choir.

Per BET, the Lifetime Achievement Award is given to industry recipients who “have not only significantly shaped culture through their extensive careers, but who have also been transformative leaders that consistently inspire generations by setting a true standard of excellence.”
