Toro Y Moi Announces New Album ‘Outer Peace’ With Music Video

Toro Y Moi‘s Outer Peace drops January 18.

Chaz Bear, better known as Toro Y Moi, has announced the follow-up to last year’s Boo Boo album. The new project is titled Outer Peace and will be released via Carpark. Artists such as Abra and Wet will be making guest appearances on the forthcoming project. A tracklist for the album can be seen below.

Coinciding with the release is a new music video for the funky and upbeat track “Freelance.” The Harry Israelson-directed music video finds Toro crafting the song with instruments surrounding him as someone takes his pictures.

“This record is a response to how disposable culture has become and how it affects creativity,” the artist said in a press release. “While listening, you might pay attention or ignore — either way, that’s ok, this is music for a creative mind.”
