JAY-Z's picks also include Roddy Rich, Young Thug and Tyler, The Creator.

JAY-Z has unveiled a Tidal playlist for his favorite songs that were released this year.

A few heavy contenders that made the cut this year include Young Thug’s “Hot” featuring Gunna and Solange’s “Almeda.” Additional tracks on the playlist are Tyler, The Creator’s “EARFQUAKE,” Travis Scott’s “HIGHEST IN THE ROOM,” and Roddy Rich’s “The Box.” J. Cole’s “MIDDLE CHILD” off the Grammy-nominated Revenge of the Dreamers III album was included. Drake and Rick Ross’ “Gold Roses” appeared right after “Already” by Beyoncé, Shatta Wale and Major Lazer.

It may not come as a surprise, but other featured artists the rapper handpicked are DaBaby’s “INTRO” off his successful KIRK album and Burna Boy’s “Collateral Damage.” Kanye West’s Christian-inspired track “Follow God” was even included. Pop Smoke’s breakout hit “Welcome To The Party” manages to make an appearance on the compilation, the Brooklyn artist has had quite a year.

Snoh Aalegra’s emotional track “Here Now (Intro)” from her newest album and Summer Walker’s “Playing Games [Extended Version]” with Bryson Tiller also made the cut. Of course Megan Thee Stallion’s single “Cash Shit” featuring DaBaby also managed to receive a slot on the playlist.

Other artists that had a buzzy 2019 also found their way on JAY-Z’s playlist: Fivio Foreign (“Big Drip”), Lil Baby (“Woah”), and Koffee (“Toast”).

Recently, JAY-Z’s discography finally hit numerous streaming platforms. Now fans can kick back and listen to the rapper’s chart-topping singles outside of Tidal. He also allegedly ended his financial issues with Kanye West as seen at Diddy’s celebrity-filled 50th birthday party.

Take a look at the playlist below.
