Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Set to Reunite For Special Performances of ‘The Score’
The former Fugees bandmates will be taking the stage to celebrate 30 years of the classic album.

Ms. Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean are celebrating 30 years of the classic Fugees album The Score with a set of special live performances. The first one-night-only event reunites the Grammy Award-winning icons at the Resorts World Theatre on Friday, November 6. It will be followed by a show at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, November 8. The shows are a celebration of the album’s genre-defining legacy and the enduring cultural impact.
The Score was released in February 1996 and immediately turned the trio of Lauryn, Wyclef and third member Pras into global superstars. With hit singles like “Ready Or Not,” “Fu-Gee-La” and “Killing Me Softly,” it would go on to sell more than 20 million copies and earn two Grammy awards. The trio would never record another album together as the Fugees, but the success of The Score was the launchpad for each individual member’s subsequent solo successes.
“It’s incredible and an honor,” Wyclef said back in 2017. “Now, I have to pinch myself because kids are now doing remakes of my music (laughs). That’s a beautiful thing. You couldn’t even pay for that kind of relevance.”
In 2021, the Fugees attempted to reunite for their first shows in a decade and a half. They were to celebrate the 25th anniversary of The Score with their first tour in 15 years. But the tour was pushed back to 2022 until it was eventually canceled, citing COVID-19 concerns. The shows were then rescheduled to start in 2024, but were canceled three days in after performing the U.K. leg of the tour.
Clef and Lauryn eventually reunited onstage at the 2024 BET Awards.
In November 2025, Pras, born Prakazrel “Pras” Michél, was sentenced to 14 years in prison after a criminal trial in which he was found guilty in a $100 million political conspiracy case.
