Flying Lotus‘ follow-up to You’re Dead! is on its way.
The Brainfeeder founder took to Instagram on Sunday to share a handwritten letter thanking his fans for their support that coincided with his 35th birthday.

“These past few years on earth have really shaken me so much and I’m grateful to be able to turn to you to make sense of it all,” FlyLo wrote. The letter ends with him writing: “P.S. Album being mastered tomorrow.”
The artist’s last album was 2014’s You’re Dead. Since then, he’s released his first directed feature film, Kuso, as well as served as the executive producer of Georgia Anne Muldrow‘s upcoming new album Overload.
FlyLo also recently announced the release of a Brainfeeder box set in honor of the record label’s 10-year anniversary.
Titled Brainfeeder X, the project will include 36 tracks, 22 of which are previously unreleased. Thundercat featuring BADBADNOTGOOD, Flying Lotus with Busdriver, Ross From Friends, and Georgia Anne Muldrow is a part of the compilation. The release will also include “The Lavishments of Light Looking,” a one-off track from the supergroup WOKE — FlyLo, Shabazz Palaces, and Thundercat (featuring George Clinton).
Ahead of X‘s release, FlyLo dropped a remix of Brandon Coleman‘s “Walk Free.” Brainfeeder X is out November 16. It will be available digitally, as a 2xCD, and as a 4xLP vinyl box set.
