This is the latest release from the label since 2019’s Revenge of the Dreamers III which recently received a Grammy nomination.
The 2-pack includes a track by Ari Lennox “BUSSIT” and “Still Up” by EarthGang featuring TDE’s Reason. When the tracks arrived late last night, it became apparent that these were most likely recorded during the ROTD3 sessions in Atlanta.
“BUSSIT” is a seductive R&B cut, on it Lennox flexes her vocal range. She also passionately sings about a beau that’s she really into and hopes to win over. Similar to her most recent work on the “Time Today” (Remix) with BJ the Chicago Kid, she adds her own sensual touch to the release.
EarthGang’s “Still Up” arrives with the infectious energy of southern hip-hop in Atlanta. Throughout the song, Johnny Venus, Doctor Dot and Reason share picturesque depictions of their fast-paced lifestyles. The two tracks, according to HYPEBEAST may be a part of a deluxe edition of ROTD3.
Revenge of the Dreamers III recently received a Grammy nomination for the Best Rap Album category. The release featured appearances by DaBaby, JID, T.I., Baby Rose, Dreezy, and many others. The album was recorded at Atlanta’s Tree Sound Studios during a 10-day recording session.

A year ago, Dreamville’s co-founder and president Ibrahim “IB” Hamad shared on Twitter that he and J. Cole had “124 songs/ideas in a playlist.” The two had to cut a lot to get the 18 tracks they went with, he also shared, “that’s not even every song.”
