After releasing his latest album 1123, BJ the Chicago Kid returns to unveil the remix to his single "Time Today" featuring Ari Lennox. The revamped version of the track is given a touch of femininity courtesy of the D.C. songstress. She offers a woman's take on having a "busy lover" who she's willing to share her time with no matter what. Recently Lennox rolled out her debut album, Shea Butter Baby.
Earlier this month, BJ released a capsule collection with Don C's RSVP Gallery and Philadelphia-born street artist Al-Baseer Holly. The range celebrates his highly anticipated release of 1123 which dropped during the summer via Motown Records. The limited-edition three-piece capsule features a T-shirt, a hoodie and shorts with original artwork of BJ by Holly.
