Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds celebrated his 62nd birthday with a sobering note to fans.
Posted to Twitter Friday night (see below,) a statement from Edmonds reveals he and his family tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate another birthday,” Edmonds writes, adding that they “have now tested negative and are on our way back to full health.” He went on to announce the rescheduled date for his “live beat battle” with Teddy Riley, which was subject to an 11th-hour postponement last week. The superproducers will now square up at 9pm EST on Saturday, April 18th via Babyface’s Instagram.
