A New Brooklyn Exhibit is Showcasing the History of Graffiti & Street Art

Expect to see works from the likes of Futura, RAMM:ΣLL:ZΣΣ, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami,

Last year, Beyond the Streets, a massive graffiti exhibit featuring more than 100 artists premiered in Los Angeles. Now lead curator Roger Gastmant is bringing that exhibit to the birthplace of graffiti: New York City.

On Friday, June 21st, Beyond the Streets, in partnership with adidas, will make its New York City debut with a massive, all-encompassing graffiti and art exhibition.

The exhibition will take place at the Twenty Five Kent building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Spanning over 100,000 square feet, and two floors, the exhibit will feature works from over 150 artists. The exhibit features sculptures, paintings, photography, and more. Expect to see works from the likes of Futura, RAMM:ΣLL:ZΣΣ, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Takashi Murakami, Shepard Fairey, Jenny Holzer, and more.

Beyond the Streets will be open from June 21st to August 2019. And throughout the summer, adidas, who is an official partner with Beyond the Streets, will have special programming to go alongside the gallery, including an exhibition dedicated to the Beastie Boys.
