André 3000 Lends His Voice for a New Seaside Super Bowl Ad

The ad relies on narration from André 3000 as his beloved voice paints a picture of Zendaya’s entrepreneurial pursuits.

André 3000 has been keeping it quiet as of late beyond appearing on “Life of The Party.”

Now, the rapper has returned in a Squarespace ad alongside Zendaya who has been garnering attention every week with her role in HBO’s Euphoria.

The commercial relies on André 3000’s narration as his beloved voice paints a picture of Zendaya’s seaside entrepreneurial pursuits. His alliteration used throughout the spot is perfect. “Sally sells sea shells at the seashore,” he shares at one point.  

Sally’s seashell business doesn’t pick up until she creates a website. In fact, her business begins thriving after she uses Squarespace, and she goes from selling shells to much, much more. Basically, she goes from merely selling shells to running an empire made up of clothing, seaside tours, and serenity sessions.

Baby Driver‘s Edgar Wright directed and Law Roach, Zendaya’s longtime stylist handled costume design.

Super Bowl LVI airs on Sunday, February 13, at California’s SoFi Stadium. The halftime show is slated to feature Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige, and Eminem. An F. Gary Gray-directed trailer for the upcoming halftime show premiered last month, with each performer handpicked by Dr. Dre answering “the call” from the rapper-producer-mogul.
