A couple of days ago, news came out that Chuck D was releasing a new, free Public Enemy album on July 4th.
Turns out that news was off.
Chuck D Says That a New Public Enemy Album is Coming Out on July 4th
The Public Enemy album is not coming out on July 4th; the album is out now. Titled Nothing is Quick in the Desert, the album will be free on Bandcamp until July 4th.

The album was released on June 29th, a day before we got hit with all the JAY-Z 4:44 hype. And it features songs with great Public Enemy-like song titles like “Terrorwrist” and ” Smells Like Teens Hear It.”
