Very few recent videos have garnered so much critical acclaim while shocking grade school teachers as El-P's brilliant clip for "The Full Retard." It's only right then that we keep this video from fading into the obscurity of our data-feeds a little longer by following up with a behind the scenes look at the genesis of this project. For one there's the supremely relevant subject matter of the clip, covering, as El-Producto astutely puts it, "a lot of important social issues like squirrels and the drugs that they do." And then there's also the always potent mixture of squirrel puppets, prostitutes and fast cars. Video of the year, anyone?
