The group's iconic logo is pictured above. Darryl "DMC" McDaniels, who owns the brand, is listed as plaintiff. The trademark infringement lawsuit mentions the sale of hats, glasses, t-shirts, wallets, patches and other items with their logo or made popular by the group. They are for asking in excess of $50 million in damages and lawyer fees. The lawsuit reads, "The Defendants are advertising, selling, manufacturing, promoting and distributing multiple products claiming to be RUN-DMC styled products. Other products directly infringe and utilize the RUN-DMC trademark."
