It’s no secret that L.A. pop songstress Nite Jewel has a mean cover game, but this time around she’s in the middle of a collaborative effort that sounds all too perfect. Nite Jewel, Zoe Kravitz and Samantha Urbani (Friends) connect to cover “Don’t Turn Me Away” by British pop duo, Rexy. Nite Jewel, Zoe, and Urbani give the song an 80s r&b vibe with a synth heavier beat on it.

The cover comes on the heels of the reissue of Rexy’s lone album, Running out of Time, which is out now via Lucky Number/URU. Listen to the ladies do justice to the original, below.
