On Tuesday, Netflix previewed its slate of movies scheduled for summer 2021 with an explosive trailer. The sneak peek features our first look at Nas and A$AP Rocky in the original drama MonsterThe film, which Nas also serves as the executive co-producer of, will make its way to Netflix's library on May 7th. Stream the full trailer below.

Other notable titles include Beckett starring John David Washington, the Bob Ross documentary Happy Accidents, and Kevin Hart's family comedy Fatherhood. These films don't have a specified release date at the moment. On June 30th check out America: The Motion Picture, starring Channing Tatum, Jason Mantzoukas, and Killer Mike. The Summer 2021 trailer features "Who Do You Love," by singer/songwriter Terrell Hines.

Monster is the film adaptation of Walter Dean Myers' 1999 novel about Steve Harmon, a 17-year-old Harlem honors student who's convicted of murder. Nas makes an on-screen appearance in the role of a fellow inmate, while Rocky plays William King, Harmon's co-defendant. Jennifer Hudson, John David Washington, and more also star in the movie. John Legend wrote songs for the film in addition to co-producing.

"I'm so proud to be a producer and songwriter for this beautiful film," Legend wrote on Instagram. "I can't wait for you to see Monster on Netflix May 7th." Monster debuted at the Sundance Film Festival back in 2018. This past November, Netflix won its rights.
