Moonchild Drops 'Please Rewind' LP + Celebrates With Full Stream

Moonchild returns to celebrate the arrival of the Please Rewind LP with a full stream of their highly-anticipated 10-track sophomore album, which dropped today. The project is steeped in lush orchestral sounds and buttery harmonies, as heard on the suffocatingly infectious grooves anchoring "All The Joy", "Winter Breeze" and "Nobody." Upping the ante after a strong showing on their seminal Be Free LP, Moonchild has infused the production with a healthy dose of live strings and horns. Lead singer Amber Navran manages to fill every single negative space in the project with a reverberating warmth without ever leaving the perch just above the fray where her voice permanently levitates. Her performance rounds out a collection of stellar compositions from bandmates Andris Mattson and Max Bryk. Mattson talks about the project and the origins of the title:

"A little backstory behind the album title... While on tour last year, we were given rolls of vintage "Please Rewind” stickers at a house party. It quickly became a trend for the group to stick them everywhere around the different cities we played in for the remainder of the tour. It was a highlight of the of tour, and the word “rewind” really stuck out to us as cool concept for an album. We hope you enjoy it an feel inspired to “rewind,” listen again, and maybe hear something you didn’t hear the first time. :) “

Moonchild has outdone themselves with Please Rewind, delivering a project that emphatically cements their arrival and plays with an air of possibility that suggests they are only just getting started.
