Fresh off the weekend release of his "Pharaoh Height" mixtape (which, if you haven't listened yet, get on it), Lupe Fiasco stopped by the stage of Hannibal Buress's Why? to perform "Prisoner 1 & 2," the impassioned standout cut off of his Tetsuo & Youth LP. Sounding strong and confident in the power of his new material, Lupe turned out a grad-A performance that capitalized on the giant television audience made available to him by Buress.

Lupe's stagetime comes as the latest in a string of excellent hip-hop and R&B acts that have graced Buress's stage. This summer we've seen Thundercat and Open Mike Eagle (and of course let's not forget the constant presence of the show's in-house DJ, Flying Lotus).
