The Grammy-nominated singer is now the no. 1 most listened to artist in the world on Spotify.

With over 50 million monthly listeners, he beat out Ariana Grande on Spotify’s monthly listener's chart, according to Spotify’s public-facing data from earlier this week. Grande is now at the no. 2 slot, with J Balvin at no. 3, Post Malone at no. 4, and Billie Eilish at no. 5.

The 21-year-old was also ranked as one of TIME's Most Influential People this year.

The only artists to have reached 50 million monthly listeners on Spotify so far have been Khalid, Drake, Ariana Grande, J Balvin, and Ed Sheeran.

Khalid released his sophomore album, Free Spirit through RCA Records earlier this month and it debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
