Ratking's Sporting Life Shares Atmospheric Remix of Frank Ocean's "Florida"

Since their late August release, Frank Ocean's Endless/Blond(e) audiovisual bomb has inspired spectrum-spanning recalibrations. Kweku Saundersongave it a touch of house with Brunett(e)Slim K (of OG Ron C's Chopstars) gave it the chopped-never-slopped treatment Purpl(e) andToronto's dvsn doubled down on the gospel with his take on "Godspeed."

Today another notch on the belt arrives by way of Ratking producer, Sporting Lifewith an atmospheric flip of the Endless cut, "Florida." Frank's wails get stretched over hi-hat rattles and abyssal kicks, fading into a glitchy, chipmunk-ed outro. But there's more. Along with the remix, Sporting Life's released a new single with UK rapper, Novelistwho's certainly worth a dedicated ear as one of London's up-and-coming grime stars. Both songs follow last year's stellar four-track project, SLAM DUNK VOL. 3, featuring Dev Hynesand Wikion the single "Nothing To Hide."
