Donald Glover Says That Only 'Sopranos' "Can Touch" 'Atlanta' Season 3 & 4

Donald Glover briefly returned to Twitter to share what he's been listening to, his thoughts on his last project, and tease the highly-anticipated third and fourth seasons of Atlanta.

Donald Glover has high words of praise for the highly-anticipated third and fourth seasons of his critically-acclaimed TV series Atlanta.

The artist made a brief return to Twitter Friday afternoon, where he tweeted not only about the show, but what he's been listening to and how he views his latest release, 3.15.20, that dropped earlier this year.

In regards to Atlanta, Glover referred to the forthcoming seasons as "some of the best television ever made," before adding: "sopranos only ones who can touch us."

As for what he's been listening to recently, Glover said that 21 Savage, Tierra Whack, Baby Keem and Steve G. Lover (his brother Stephen Glover's rapper moniker) are his favorites right now, while also calling Azealia Banks "the best."

And as for 3.15.20, Glover said that the album was "probably my best," before saying, "but the one coming will be my biggest by far."

Because of the pandemic, new episodes of Atlanta are likely to come out later in 2021. Previously, it was reported that the series was likely to return in January of next year. The show will resume production in early 2021, and then be released later in the year. The third and fourth seasons of the series were written together and will be shot together, too. One season is set and will primarily be shot in Atlanta, but the other takes place in Europe, likely following up on the cliffhanger season two left viewers on.
