Childish Gambino- "What Kind Of Love" (Unreleased)
Childish Gambino responds to the unlawful sale of the unfinished gem "What Kind Of Love" by releasing it himself for free. The ultra minimal, guitar-lilt-only outtake was apparently distributed on iTunes without Bino's consent. While it certainly seems far more demo than mastered copy, the track--which sounds like an "Urn" beta-- showcases the emotive MC/crooner's underrated range as a vocalist. If this is what the outtakes sound like, I'd take a whole album's worth any day. His dynamic Because The Internet LP features collaborations with Chance The Rapper, Thundercat, Jhene Aiko and Azealia Banks, garnering copious superlatives in the blogosphere, quietly selling nearly a quarter of a million copies since its December release and will serve as the conceptual prequel to his upcoming Deep Web Tour, which launches in Kansas City next week. Listen to the self-released Because The Internet outtake "What Kind Of Love" below.
