Next week, just before the Turkey Day festivities commence, the world will finally know what came of the heir to Rocky Balboa's only true contender, Apollo Creed, in the highly-anticipated spin-off Creed. The film stars Michael B. Jordan as lead, Adonis Johnson, as well as Sly Stallone, who reprises his role as Rocky. But with such a hard-hitting roster, it's only right that the soundtrack matches up pound-for-pound.

The curation of Creed's OST will be handled by Ludwig Goransson, who fittingly nabbed longtime collaborator Childish Gambino, along withJhené Aiko and Vince Staplesfor the soundtrack's very anthemic first release "Waiting For My Moment." Over a triumphant string-heavy arrangement, Bino flaunts dynamic vocal talents, Aiko lilts and Staples burns through the track, each putting forth a heavyweight caliber performance. There's no word yet on when exactly we'll see the release of Creed's soundtrack, but this loaded cut should certainly hold you over.
